[00:00:00] At a certain point in my payroll career, I wasn't allowed to talk to employees.

[00:00:05] I had to work through HR and work through their bosses and their supervisors.

[00:00:11] Welcome back folks.

[00:00:13] This is episode 48.

[00:00:15] We're talking about year in review on this show, folks.

[00:00:19] We do it every, at the end of every season where we kind of just recap what, what we liked about the season, what stuck out for us, what next season, what's next to talk about.

[00:00:29] And what not.

[00:00:30] But before that, what's up, Walt?

[00:00:32] What's going on?

[00:00:33] What up, bro?

[00:00:35] I'm all good.

[00:00:36] No complaints, man.

[00:00:37] Just glad to be here.

[00:00:38] Like I always say, bro, grateful under the day of the opportunity.

[00:00:43] Grateful to everybody that's listening live right now.

[00:00:46] Everybody that's listening later on when we drop these episodes.

[00:00:50] Trying to remain grateful, bro, despite everything that's going on.

[00:00:54] What about you, man?

[00:00:55] What you doing?

[00:00:55] How you doing?

[00:00:56] I'm doing good, man.

[00:00:58] Embracing the season.

[00:00:59] I went through a love hate with the holidays at one point where it was like, I loved it as a kid.

[00:01:04] And then I went through this mid point where I was like, I hate it.

[00:01:07] I hate what it's doing.

[00:01:08] When I got woke, when I got woke, I got, I went through this hate of the holidays and what it stood for and why, what it all meant.

[00:01:16] And then I don't think it changed until I started my own family.

[00:01:21] And then I, then I was like, well, how is what you make it?

[00:01:25] You know what I mean?

[00:01:26] And we can redefine it.

[00:01:27] My kids know that Thanksgiving is not about the pilgrims and all that.

[00:01:30] They know that indigenous folks got slaughtered and it was a, you know, it was a ruse.

[00:01:34] And they know the real about what's going on.

[00:01:37] It doesn't, but we still like Thanksgiving.

[00:01:39] We, because I say, Hey, it's, it's about bringing our families together, bringing our family to get, having to spend it.

[00:01:44] That's a whole nother conversation.

[00:01:46] That could be a whole show.

[00:01:47] It is.

[00:01:47] It could be.

[00:01:48] Everybody.

[00:01:49] I grew up celebrating all those different things.

[00:01:52] I have just like you have those mixed feelings sometimes.

[00:01:55] Like, man, what does it really mean?

[00:01:57] What does it really represent?

[00:01:58] I mean, I find joy during any holiday by being a blessing man.

[00:02:03] You know me.

[00:02:04] And yeah, I've had to learn to be smart and be wise with how I bless and who I bless.

[00:02:09] I definitely love to try to do my best to be a blessing, especially after everything I've done, because I've also been on another side of that.

[00:02:17] When I wasn't being a blessing that I've been a hard head and did somebody wrong or whatever, you know what I'm saying?

[00:02:23] Been on the other side too.

[00:02:24] So yeah, man.

[00:02:25] All right, man.

[00:02:26] Let's get into it.

[00:02:27] We've got some pain news update.

[00:02:28] What you got for us?

[00:02:29] So mine is going to be a, I don't know if it's a spicy topic or whatever, but it's about workplace romances.

[00:02:38] Oh.

[00:02:38] It's something we've never talked about.

[00:02:40] For sure.

[00:02:41] But it does happen.

[00:02:42] Right?

[00:02:43] You're right.

[00:02:44] As far as we went, was like talking about friends at work.

[00:02:47] Yeah.

[00:02:48] Friends at work.

[00:02:48] Right?

[00:02:49] Yeah.

[00:02:49] Yeah.

[00:02:49] Yeah.

[00:02:49] Yeah.

[00:02:49] So there's this article by legal.thomasonrouters.com.

[00:02:55] It's a blog.

[00:02:56] It talks about remancing the workplace and the risks and solutions.

[00:03:00] It's covering a situation like this.

[00:03:02] Right?

[00:03:03] So because work is that can occur as far as the risk it can lead to potential sexual harassment,

[00:03:09] retaliation.

[00:03:10] If it doesn't work out favoritism.

[00:03:14] And even some workplace violence.

[00:03:16] Right?

[00:03:17] It's said that some employers may try to ban dating in the workplace outright.

[00:03:22] Wow.

[00:03:24] However, they said that's probably unrealistic.

[00:03:27] Because if you think about it, one thing that we did say is that a majority of these

[00:03:31] people that we work with, we usually spend a lot of time, even more time sometimes than

[00:03:35] with them.

[00:03:36] They will get our families.

[00:03:37] So you're going to make connections.

[00:03:40] Valor payroll, Christina, who's out there?

[00:03:42] Hey, what?

[00:03:43] What's up?

[00:03:44] You're going to, you're going to make some people.

[00:03:46] Right?

[00:03:46] So I think that it's just important to use wisdom and have certain workplace policies

[00:03:52] in place and procedures.

[00:03:54] And again, for those of you who are just doing the live, this is I-A-Y-P.

[00:03:57] I-A-Y-P.

[00:03:59] Y-A-Y-P.

[00:03:59] Y-A-Y-P.

[00:04:00] I-A-Y-P.

[00:04:01] It's about your paycheck.

[00:04:02] The paycheck is the sister to our brother, to our other show, our main show.

[00:04:08] It's about payroll.

[00:04:09] So thank you for joining again.

[00:04:11] And that's pretty much it.

[00:04:12] It's an interesting read, man.

[00:04:14] You should check it out.

[00:04:16] Read it.

[00:04:16] If you have time again, the link is going to be in the show notes.

[00:04:19] It even talks about a love contract.

[00:04:21] I know people used to make fun of that at workplaces and stuff like that, but it just

[00:04:25] talks about how that is a real thing in some places.

[00:04:28] Oh, wow.

[00:04:30] That's it.

[00:04:31] It sounds interesting.

[00:04:32] I mean, so I wanted to bring something different.

[00:04:35] What about you?

[00:04:35] What'd you got?

[00:04:36] That's what's up.

[00:04:36] Oh, mine is not as nice as that one, but this one is about, Hey, Valor.

[00:04:44] What's up.

[00:04:45] What's up?

[00:04:45] It's our first live.

[00:04:46] So give us grace.

[00:04:47] We, we trying to work with it.

[00:04:48] We're going to start doing the show live as we record.

[00:04:53] And if you catch the live, you get the show quicker, but.

[00:04:57] Nice.

[00:04:58] Down the world.

[00:04:58] Thanks for joining.

[00:04:59] Thanks for joining.

[00:05:00] Happy holidays, everybody.

[00:05:01] So my article is kind of, I hope folks are not, I hope this doesn't start trending.

[00:05:07] Where presidents and CEOs are getting assaulted, but I found an article, unfortunately about

[00:05:13] a president of a company out in Michigan.

[00:05:15] And one of the employees went up to them and just stabbed them this morning.

[00:05:18] Not this morning, but in the morning as work was starting.

[00:05:21] Yeah.

[00:05:21] Yeah.

[00:05:22] He got stabbed in the side by an employee and the employee ran and fled the scene and

[00:05:26] whatnot.

[00:05:27] They don't know the motive yet.

[00:05:29] They don't know the reason yet, but unfortunately we just had an incident where a CEO of a health

[00:05:34] company was killed in the streets of New York city, cold blood, broad daylight.

[00:05:38] And now here's this, and I really hope is not becoming a trend.

[00:05:42] So be aware folks let's be diligent, right?

[00:05:45] Yeah.

[00:05:46] Companies, HR teams kind of be a little bit more mindful of the situations you're putting your

[00:05:50] owners in.

[00:05:51] And unfortunately we have to be a little bit more secure even at work and how we do things.

[00:05:57] That speaks to the mental health of people, right?

[00:06:00] People.

[00:06:00] Yeah.

[00:06:00] That's what I thought right away too.

[00:06:02] I was like, oh man, it's the holidays.

[00:06:04] We're probably didn't get no bonus, no raise, no this, no that.

[00:06:08] And they're mad.

[00:06:09] You know what I mean?

[00:06:09] Cause I think a lot of times right now folks can easily misinterpret and employees are quick

[00:06:15] to count the company's money.

[00:06:17] Right.

[00:06:18] Oh, how come we didn't get this?

[00:06:19] And how come we didn't get that?

[00:06:20] And guess what?

[00:06:21] You still have a job.

[00:06:22] That is the main thing.

[00:06:24] Companies are not obligated to give us any more.

[00:06:27] We can go down a rabbit hole here with this conversation.

[00:06:31] If you wanted to, because it may not have anything to do with their pay per se.

[00:06:36] Yeah.

[00:06:37] Oh yeah.

[00:06:37] It could be a feeling.

[00:06:38] They were feeling would be, who knows what feel.

[00:06:41] They have a tough family member or loved one that they're willing to retaliate for.

[00:06:46] Yeah, man.

[00:06:47] Thanks for sharing that.

[00:06:48] Interesting.

[00:06:48] Yeah, no doubt.

[00:06:50] Before we go any further, let's pay the bills.

[00:08:10] Thanks.

[00:08:11] Thanks for seeing you.

[00:08:12] Yeah, we got to get you on here on one of these lives.

[00:08:15] Let's play something, coordinate something.

[00:08:16] Let's get to it.

[00:08:17] We are talking about, again, we're just recapping year and season in, not a year in view.

[00:08:22] Well, I guess it's both because it's at the end of the year.

[00:08:24] We do our seasons as we are payroll folks, right?

[00:08:28] Seasons for the show are also four quarters.

[00:08:30] So we got four seasons every year.

[00:08:32] We're ending a quarter and a year at this point.

[00:08:35] So it's a little bit of both.

[00:08:36] Yeah.

[00:08:36] But on this show, it's about your paycheck has been an evolution really, right?

[00:08:44] It's been a, it's been a lot of trial and error for this show.

[00:08:47] It's been, we're trying to figure out the right product to deliver to the audience.

[00:08:52] At one point we merged it back together and we're like, oh, we can just do one show and

[00:08:57] it'll be for two.

[00:08:59] And we'll just talk to the paycheck folk.

[00:09:00] Like it was okay for a second.

[00:09:03] And some shows will still lend to that.

[00:09:05] Right.

[00:09:05] We had Mark Mears on the show and that's a great crossover because we didn't really

[00:09:10] talk about payrolls about leadership and development and personality, personality,

[00:09:14] character development.

[00:09:15] Right.

[00:09:15] It was a great crossover show.

[00:09:19] But as we got signed to work defined.

[00:09:21] And our work defined network folks love that we had the two shows as well.

[00:09:27] Shout out to work defined.

[00:09:28] We're on the podcast network newly this year, Ryan and William dope partners to have on it.

[00:09:34] They're the leaders of the network and they're really doing big things for HR and payroll

[00:09:38] podcasting.

[00:09:39] So as we kind of got signed and I heard William say, I love that you do two shows.

[00:09:44] It kind of made me think, I mean, well, we're already there.

[00:09:47] Okay.

[00:09:48] We need to separate the shows again.

[00:09:50] Right.

[00:09:50] Right.

[00:09:51] Cause we're at confalidating.

[00:09:52] Yeah.

[00:09:53] All right.

[00:09:54] We'll make it more segmented.

[00:09:56] Yeah.

[00:09:56] And before you continue on, man, shout out.

[00:09:58] Thank you, Christina.

[00:09:59] We appreciate you.

[00:10:01] Thank you.

[00:10:01] You keep hustling to assess.

[00:10:03] We appreciate, I appreciate you on that.

[00:10:04] Thank you for that.

[00:10:05] Thank you for your words and your love and all the likes.

[00:10:08] Thank you.

[00:10:08] Thank you for everybody in the live.

[00:10:10] So yeah, man.

[00:10:12] No, no.

[00:10:12] Mark Mears was a, he was a great guest.

[00:10:16] We had some other great guests on as well.

[00:10:18] Other show for IAP.

[00:10:21] So go check that out.

[00:10:21] If you're in the Bureau or HR industry, we talked about a lot of different state stuff too.

[00:10:26] Like for the employee paycheck.

[00:10:28] Talked about Cali wage, minimum wage, New York minimum wage.

[00:10:32] Talked about Cali pay stuff.

[00:10:36] What your rights are and what you should look out for as an employee.

[00:10:39] Right?

[00:10:39] So those are different things that you could look out for and tune for.

[00:10:43] Right.

[00:10:44] When it comes to payroll and your paycheck.

[00:10:47] What are the takeaways that you have for 2024 or bro?

[00:10:50] Or year in.

[00:10:54] You know what you should know?

[00:10:56] You should know that you should know podcast.

[00:10:58] That's what you should know.

[00:11:00] Because then you'd be in the know on all things that are timely and topical.

[00:11:05] Subscribe to the, you should know podcast.

[00:11:08] Thanks.

[00:11:09] I mean, again, man, just a season of growth.

[00:11:11] I think this year was tough.

[00:11:13] A lot of learned a lot grew a lot.

[00:11:15] And I realized in that toward the end, the last, you know, quarter of the year that.

[00:11:22] I had been working.

[00:11:24] I've been working now nonstop since I was 16.

[00:11:27] That puts me at 30 years straight working.

[00:11:30] Like I could retire already.

[00:11:32] You know what I mean?

[00:11:33] And that, that, cause I was just tired.

[00:11:37] At one point I was just tired.

[00:11:38] I burned out.

[00:11:40] And I was like, you know, what now?

[00:11:43] What am I going to, what, like, how do I get past this?

[00:11:45] How do I get through this?

[00:11:46] And right when I was at that.

[00:11:48] The precipice of this moment.

[00:11:50] I found the Mark Nears by acts kind of just being diligent on emails and following up and his PR people reached out to us.

[00:11:59] And I was like, yeah, sure.

[00:11:59] We need guests.

[00:12:00] Absolutely.

[00:12:00] Let's bring guests on.

[00:12:01] I didn't even know what it was going to be about.

[00:12:04] I did the discovery call with him and I was like blown away on the discovery call, which I usually don't do.

[00:12:09] Well, I'd be like, Nope, you're not, we're not doing a pre podcast at all.

[00:12:14] Nope.

[00:12:14] You're just going to get on.

[00:12:15] We're going to share topics and you're going to get on.

[00:12:17] It's going to be fresh and live.

[00:12:18] I think I learned that from Wendy Williams, by the way, like, I used to listen to a lot of Wendy growing up and she was like that.

[00:12:25] She wouldn't even, she claims that she didn't talk to her guest in commercial breaks.

[00:12:30] She would just, they, they wouldn't talk and then they bring it back on live.

[00:12:33] So like, I really appreciated that.

[00:12:35] You know what I mean?

[00:12:36] Yeah.

[00:12:37] But I think the biggest takeaway.

[00:12:40] Yeah, man, is just the growth and the development all around that I was going through as an employee, as a father, as a husband, as a brother, as a friend, like just as a human, just trying to grow.

[00:12:56] Yeah.

[00:12:56] Thank you for sharing that, bro.

[00:12:57] Because look, I think we all go through different seasons in our lives.

[00:13:02] Right.

[00:13:03] And Mark's book spoke to that purposeful growth revolution.

[00:13:08] Right.

[00:13:09] A lot of the things that you are saying that resonates with me too, because I feel like that there's some times you have those peaks and those valleys you have, what seems like you're on the way up and you're getting your stride.

[00:13:20] And then you feel like you hit a roadblock.

[00:13:22] And some of you that are on live or listening to this episode, you feel like that right now, you just got to keep at it.

[00:13:27] Keep hard.

[00:13:28] Yep.

[00:13:28] Stay, stay the course.

[00:13:29] And don't be scared to pivot, change something up.

[00:13:32] Try different things.

[00:13:33] Ryan and I, Ryan will tell you, we've mixed it up here on these different shows.

[00:13:37] We started out with, we have four or five different shows.

[00:13:40] Oh yeah.

[00:13:41] We try to do a lot.

[00:13:42] When we launched the website, we had a bunch of shows and uncensored news, IAP, I OIP, all those different things that we were trying to do.

[00:13:51] And we had to switch it up and find our sweet spot.

[00:13:54] So keep switching it up.

[00:13:55] Can you try something until you find that sweet spot for yourself?

[00:13:59] And the next thing you know, you'll never, as long as you love it, you love the passion.

[00:14:04] You'll find out that it's really your purpose.

[00:14:06] Right?

[00:14:06] Yeah.

[00:14:07] So exactly.

[00:14:08] Go from there, man.

[00:14:09] So that's it, bro.

[00:14:10] Thanks for sharing that.

[00:14:11] What are your goals for next year and next season when it comes to IAYP?

[00:14:17] Oh man.

[00:14:18] For this show, I definitely want to just keep one.

[00:14:21] I want to connect with viewers and listeners and tell us what you tell us what problems you're having with your paycheck that we may be able to solve.

[00:14:29] We are between Walt and I, we have over 40 years of payroll experience.

[00:14:33] So take advantage of us.

[00:14:35] Think of us as like your personal payroll person.

[00:14:38] Right?

[00:14:38] And not the one at work where that might be blocking you on some level or maybe overworked or when just can't get to you and can't answer your questions for you and maybe not be allowed to.

[00:14:50] I would at a certain point in my payroll career, I wasn't allowed to talk to employees.

[00:14:56] I had to work through HR and work through their bosses and their supervisors.

[00:15:01] I was not allowed to directly talk to employees.

[00:15:04] It's not always the payroll person's fault, but I want the listeners and the watchers, users, this followers to kind of think of us as that, right?

[00:15:12] As your personal payroll person that you can lean on and say, Hey, why is my check doing this? And why didn't I understand this about my check and what's going on and blah, blah, blah.

[00:15:23] Yeah. That's kind of, I want to continue to evolve the product that we deliver for our listeners for on the paycheck side.

[00:15:30] What about you?

[00:15:31] No, it's the same thing. I shouldn't listen to me, man. Just piggyback on that.

[00:15:35] Like I, I definitely want to continue doing what we started this for, right. Is to educate and empower, right? Because there's nothing really out there like this.

[00:15:47] There's other platforms you can learn certain things from, but you have payroll HR professionals and you and I with over two decades or no four decades of experience a piece, you know what I'm saying?

[00:16:09] Yeah. So no, but no jokes aside. Look, I want to keep helping people. I want to be a blessing to people and I want to learn and grow myself as well because I've been on both sides of the coin when I've been a blessing and I've also been a detriment to someone.

[00:16:24] So I, it's my goal now to just always be on the side of being a blessing. Look, I can't make everybody happy. There's going to be some people that just don't lie to me for whatever reason. That's on them.

[00:16:36] But the use case podcast is where technology vendors get to talk about themselves. And it's a wonderful place for vendors, investors, uh, and practitioners to listen to the story of the solution, the features, benefits, the attributes, et cetera. And, uh, we get to know the CEO or founder, uh, during the, during the, uh, call. And we also get to know the tech. So subscribe to the use case podcast.

[00:17:05] For me and everybody else. I want to continue to be the best person I can be, to be a good representation, a payroll pro and a, and more so a good human being, bro. So that's it for me, man. And we're going to continue bringing new, fresh stuff to you. Any updates that are going to impact your pay. We're going to let you know, this is the place for you to come and check it out and find out more about your pay. Please come see us.

[00:17:28] That's right. No doubt. Um, what you got.

[00:17:36] No, I was going to say the potluck was fun too.

[00:17:38] Oh, yeah. That was something that we ended the year off with is that potluck and don't miss the year end episode. Also, we did a year end episode for the, it's about your paycheck on what folks like us should do come year end as.

[00:17:52] Yeah. We got to maybe holidays create, but don't forget to start thinking about finances for the next year and how to be intentional. And if you're want to be in a better money place, those are the things we talk about a lot on the show is like how to get there with us.

[00:18:06] We're not selling anything. We have nothing to sell to you on the paycheck side, other than a good time, good information, have some laughs with us and learn something along the way.

[00:18:16] What we've noticed is a lot of these type shows, especially on the payroll side, they're a business trying to ultimately sell something to you, right? We're pure media.

[00:18:27] We're just here to talk and give you information about learning and how to leverage your paycheck.

[00:18:33] You know what I mean? Yep. So yeah, no doubt. So we got some walls having fun. We, we upgrade the production. We got some sound in the back. You know what I mean?

[00:18:46] So we bring in a whole new experience to y'all and yeah, we just keep going from there. So what you got here to close out the shows?

[00:18:54] So the new little thing you're doing on the other show, I had the pop quiz for you. Now, this is a different type of pop quiz, right? How well do we know each other? How will the, you know what I'm saying?

[00:19:05] Oh, that's a good one. You know what I'm saying? So I, we're going to answer these questions. There's four questions.

[00:19:11] We're going to answer and see how close or how good we know each other. Right. And look, Brenton is my boy.

[00:19:17] I'm not supposed to know every detail like that. He knows enough stuff about me, the important things. There you go.

[00:19:22] Yeah. Well, I could do the math on the, on the first one.

[00:19:27] Right. What year was your co-host born?

[00:19:32] I believe we are 84. You were born in 84.

[00:19:37] 82, bro.

[00:19:39] 82. Damn, I'm bad at math.

[00:19:41] And you're 78, man.

[00:19:42] I am 78. Yep.

[00:19:44] Oh, so it's only four years different. I thought you were still like 40.

[00:19:47] Okay. Okay. So 82, you said for you, we have seven. Now it got me dating ourselves. It's just 78 for me.

[00:19:55] We look good though, bro. We're in North now. We're not open green.

[00:19:59] What up, green?

[00:20:00] Okay. Favorite color that I definitely don't know for you. I could take a wild guess though.

[00:20:09] Yeah.

[00:20:11] Just guess.

[00:20:12] Red?

[00:20:13] No, mine is blue.

[00:20:15] Blue.

[00:20:16] I like the deep, like real blue.

[00:20:19] Oh, really?

[00:20:20] Yeah. That's my, I think for you, I was going to initially say red for you, but I was like,

[00:20:26] green.

[00:20:27] Oh, no, I agree.

[00:20:29] You don't want money.

[00:20:30] Money.

[00:20:32] Nah, I mean, I don't think I have a favorite color. I think I have, what are you running

[00:20:36] for?

[00:20:37] I think for the confetti.

[00:20:40] Thank you.

[00:20:41] Oh, thank you.

[00:20:42] I kind of, I kind of lean to black and we don't have, I have black.

[00:20:46] Okay.

[00:20:47] And then I try to wear red.

[00:20:48] Cause my wife told me one time I look good in red.

[00:20:50] So I wear it for her as much as I can.

[00:20:52] Yeah.

[00:20:53] All right.

[00:20:53] What's the next one?

[00:20:54] Team that I know.

[00:20:56] Well.

[00:20:57] Okay.

[00:20:57] So if we think about, we can say that the three or four, I know, I don't know if you

[00:21:02] really watch hockey.

[00:21:03] I do not.

[00:21:04] The three men sports, baseball, baseball, football, basketball.

[00:21:08] Basketball.

[00:21:09] So NBA, NFL.

[00:21:10] So I got you Miami heat, Miami dolphins.

[00:21:15] And what is that?

[00:21:16] Baseball.

[00:21:17] Baseball.

[00:21:18] I don't know.

[00:21:18] I don't know if you have, I don't know.

[00:21:20] I like your team.

[00:21:21] Well, you for baseball, you wrap with either the Yankees or the Mets.

[00:21:25] You wrap with one of them.

[00:21:26] Also the Yankees, but I do not hate the Mets.

[00:21:28] Yeah.

[00:21:29] That's what he says all the time.

[00:21:30] All the time.

[00:21:31] Yankees first.

[00:21:32] Yankees first.

[00:21:33] I like the New York all New York second.

[00:21:36] Hi there.

[00:21:37] I'm Peter Zollman.

[00:21:38] I'm a co-host of the inside job boards and recruitment marketplaces podcast.

[00:21:43] And I'm Steven Rothberg.

[00:22:02] Basketball.

[00:22:03] You definitely the next for you.

[00:22:04] Maybe.

[00:22:05] Maybe the Nets.

[00:22:06] If you get there.

[00:22:07] Only because they moved to Brooklyn.

[00:22:08] Yeah.

[00:22:09] It's like they're not in New York.

[00:22:10] They used to be the New Jersey Nets.

[00:22:11] And I didn't have no love for them then.

[00:22:13] And their football is Giants.

[00:22:15] The Giants all day.

[00:22:16] Their announced.

[00:22:17] No doubt.

[00:22:17] That one's easy.

[00:22:18] Oh.

[00:22:19] All right.

[00:22:19] Next one is favorite food.

[00:22:20] That's tough because we're foodies.

[00:22:23] Oh.

[00:22:24] Is it Jamaican food?

[00:22:26] No.

[00:22:26] I love Caribbean.

[00:22:28] I always try.

[00:22:29] He is in Jamaican food.

[00:22:30] I do.

[00:22:31] I'm trying to find a good spot.

[00:22:33] Yeah.

[00:22:33] I always try to find a good spot wherever I'm at.

[00:22:37] So what's your favorite food then?

[00:22:39] Good food.

[00:22:41] Dang.

[00:22:41] See?

[00:22:42] That's like cheating.

[00:22:43] Good food.

[00:22:44] Yeah.

[00:22:45] I can say the same thing too.

[00:22:47] Yeah.

[00:22:47] If I was going to guess for you.

[00:22:49] I was going to say.

[00:22:50] The Pacific.

[00:22:51] Your roots man.

[00:22:52] You're like your Puerto Rican food.

[00:22:53] That type of stuff bro.

[00:22:54] That's what I'll think.

[00:22:55] I go through phases.

[00:22:57] One of my favorite dishes is like a nice grilled chicken.

[00:23:03] White rice.

[00:23:04] Like.

[00:23:05] That was my favorite when I was in New York though.

[00:23:07] Cause there was spots.

[00:23:08] Different spots that I would get it from.

[00:23:09] Yeah.

[00:23:10] Now I think.

[00:23:12] I'm loving some seafood right now.

[00:23:14] Really?

[00:23:15] Yeah.

[00:23:15] What about you online?

[00:23:16] What are y'all favorite foods?

[00:23:18] Tell us y'all favorite foods.

[00:23:20] Latasha.

[00:23:21] What's your favorite food?

[00:23:22] And that.

[00:23:23] What's your favorite?

[00:23:23] And that.

[00:23:23] You said that.

[00:23:24] What's your favorite food girl?

[00:23:27] What's your favorite foods?

[00:23:28] What you like?

[00:23:29] Word.

[00:23:30] You know what I'm saying?

[00:23:30] Yeah man.

[00:23:31] And I like everything.

[00:23:32] I like a good barbecue.

[00:23:33] That's what I'm saying.

[00:23:34] Oh Latasha says seafood.

[00:23:36] Okay.

[00:23:36] Oh see you.

[00:23:37] Okay.

[00:23:38] Bye.

[00:23:38] Yup.

[00:23:39] I'm loving seafood right now.

[00:23:41] For real.

[00:23:42] Oh that's right.

[00:23:43] That's right.

[00:23:43] But I like.

[00:23:44] Like you said.

[00:23:45] Good food.

[00:23:46] Yeah.

[00:23:46] If you just missed it.

[00:23:47] We doing who.

[00:23:48] Favorite food.

[00:23:49] We actually doing who.

[00:23:50] Who gets to know your host.

[00:23:52] Co-host.

[00:23:52] Right.

[00:23:53] And he cheated.

[00:23:54] I said what's your favorite food?

[00:23:55] He said.

[00:23:55] Good food.

[00:23:57] That.

[00:23:57] But we foodies though.

[00:23:58] We're foodies.

[00:23:59] We don't get this weight for nothing.

[00:24:01] No time to be right now.

[00:24:02] The fat neck chronicles.

[00:24:04] Yeah.

[00:24:04] The fat neck chronicle.

[00:24:06] Turn to the next time.

[00:24:08] I'm a fat neck head.

[00:24:09] I'm a fat neck.

[00:24:09] And the fat neck.

[00:24:11] What I need is this angle.

[00:24:13] So I can look.

[00:24:14] The my space.

[00:24:14] The thin angle.

[00:24:15] Yeah.

[00:24:15] The my space.

[00:24:16] I wrapped it.

[00:24:17] Who's that?

[00:24:18] Oh wait.

[00:24:19] Burn hot dogs.

[00:24:21] Oh yeah.

[00:24:22] I could do that too.

[00:24:23] I thought that was your name for a second.

[00:24:25] I'm like wait.

[00:24:25] Burn hot dogs.

[00:24:26] Yes.

[00:24:27] And their favorite food is anything good.

[00:24:29] See.

[00:24:29] See.

[00:24:30] Through the Thai head.

[00:24:32] Yep.

[00:24:32] All that.

[00:24:33] Yep.

[00:24:34] I love that.

[00:24:35] But wait.

[00:24:36] Latasha you put ketchup or mustard on your hot dogs?

[00:24:39] Oh.

[00:24:40] I'm a mustard guy all the way.

[00:24:42] Mustard.

[00:24:42] Sometimes I get a little ketchup.

[00:24:44] But it has to be mustard and ketchup.

[00:24:46] If I feel like having a little something sweet.

[00:24:48] You know what I mean?

[00:24:49] Because the ketchup becomes sweet next to the mustard.

[00:24:51] For me.

[00:24:52] If this is a burnt hot dog off the grill.

[00:24:54] I don't need nothing on it.

[00:24:56] Nothing.

[00:24:56] Just like that.

[00:24:57] Yep.

[00:24:58] That's the taste girl.

[00:24:59] That's that.

[00:24:59] No doubt.

[00:25:00] You're a purist.

[00:25:01] No doubt.

[00:25:02] I don't know about that.

[00:25:05] I don't need anything on it.

[00:25:07] Oh.

[00:25:07] All right.

[00:25:08] What'd she say?

[00:25:09] Nothing.

[00:25:11] Oh.

[00:25:11] Like Walt then.

[00:25:12] All right.

[00:25:12] Cool.

[00:25:13] Cool.

[00:25:14] That's how I am on some things too.

[00:25:15] They'd be like oh would you put them like nothing.

[00:25:17] This is like this.

[00:25:18] Nothing.

[00:25:18] I think.

[00:25:19] You know what I mean?

[00:25:20] I hate that.

[00:25:21] Oh man.

[00:25:21] That was fun.
