Cohosts Steven Rothberg of College Recruiter and Jeanette Leeds are joined today by the one and only Bas van de Haterd, who calls himself a professional snoop and shares with us two of the coolest, high-volume hiring efforts that he's seen in The Netherlands.
One involves a recruitment program for a retail pharmacy with locations practically around the corner from every household. They're now hiring people in pairs instead of one at a time.
The second involves the Dutch postal service, which determined exactly what made a postal delivery person a "quality" hire, accidentally discovered that the local hiring managers measured that differently, and then rolled out nationally the measure that best represented quality.
