Rise up, PayrollBADIes! This is more than a podcast—it's a movement. We're here to celebrate payroll, elevate the conversation, and shake up the world of HR tech. Join us and be part of the PayrollBadies revolution! This podcast is openly biased towards SAP - don’t like it? GTFO! SAP is THE leader in payroll technology and solutions.

In our inaugural podcast, we dived into who we are, the electric energy of SuccessConnect 2024 in Lisbon, and yes, Sunny's unforgettable adventure on Pink Street (#IYKYN). We talked about payroll taking center stage, AI innovations, and we analyzed the new Strada and Workday partnership.

[00:00:03] My name is Raj Sharma Charga, and I'm here today with my esteemed Payroll Baddies that they'll introduce themselves throughout the podcast.

[00:00:11] And we're so excited to be here for our first podcast ever.

[00:00:14] But before we go into the podcast, I think it's fair now for us to talk about who are we Payroll Baddies?

[00:00:21] Well, we Payroll Baddies, we're just a bunch of regular folks with an extreme passion for payroll and HR tech.

[00:00:28] So this podcast is something we wanted to put together for a place for all of us to talk and rant about anything and everything.

[00:00:36] Because this is what we do on our free time anyway.

[00:00:38] I call up my buddy Imran and Todd and Jesse and Gio and Sonny. We're like, hey, let's just talk.

[00:00:43] And sometimes we talk about something good, but sometimes we just talk shit. It's fun.

[00:00:48] I think Imran said it. I think Imran said we should just record this shit one day.

[00:00:52] Exactly.

[00:00:53] That was good. Yes.

[00:00:54] Sure.

[00:00:55] And I was already doing it a little bit. So I was like, you know what, let's get the gang together and do it instead.

[00:01:00] It'll be more of a penny.

[00:01:00] Can we put it in our pajamas too and wear gold chains and chains?

[00:01:04] Yep.

[00:01:05] You don't want to see the bottom half of our screen.

[00:01:08] Well, we've got a part.

[00:01:09] Now I have to walk away.

[00:01:11] Now I walk away.

[00:01:12] It'll be at the end.

[00:01:14] You know, if you stay for the whole episode.

[00:01:15] I'm going to.

[00:01:16] Exactly.

[00:01:17] Our mission, again, our mission is to make payroll and HR take fun and grow more payroll baddies.

[00:01:24] Cause we know you guys are out there.

[00:01:26] You guys sometimes are outspoken.

[00:01:28] Sometimes you're hiding.

[00:01:29] We all want to make it, you know, we're a cult here and we want to make this a big thing.

[00:01:34] So we're excited.

[00:01:36] But before we get into the funness of all, I think there's some disclaimers that we probably should go over.

[00:01:43] Don't you guys think?

[00:01:45] First and foremost, this podcast will contain some well-placed cursing.

[00:01:51] Again, I've already talked to Todd.

[00:01:52] I told him you cannot use the F word every other word.

[00:01:55] It has to be well-placed.

[00:01:56] I didn't hear that.

[00:01:57] I didn't hear that.

[00:01:58] It has to be well-placed, right?

[00:02:00] And here's the biggest disclaimer.

[00:02:03] We are definitely, definitely an SAP biased podcast.

[00:02:10] And if you don't like it?

[00:02:12] Don't like it?

[00:02:13] Get the fuck out!

[00:02:16] I'm doing sweaty already.

[00:02:18] Well-placed F-bomb.

[00:02:20] Just to get us started, right?

[00:02:22] So we will want to get this started.

[00:02:24] This is all going to evolve as we do more and more podcasts.

[00:02:27] But we like to start off with something that we actually took from another great podcast, The New Heights.

[00:02:34] Shout out to my Kelsey brothers.

[00:02:36] New news!

[00:02:38] Woo!

[00:02:40] Our first topic today in new news is to talk about Success Connect, because that just happened.

[00:02:46] So I'm going to pass it over to my baddie, Jessie.

[00:02:50] Jessie, take it.

[00:02:51] Yeah.

[00:02:52] Thank you, Raj.

[00:02:53] Well, we all just got back from Portugal.

[00:02:56] Some of us were at the conference.

[00:02:59] Others were just on Pink Street.

[00:03:01] Not looking at you funny.

[00:03:05] I'll be honest, you guys.

[00:03:07] I was...

[00:03:08] You guys know I'm a Success Connect junkie.

[00:03:11] Love Success Connect.

[00:03:13] I planned it the day after for the next year.

[00:03:16] Portugal, though, to be honest, I don't know if I was tired.

[00:03:19] I wasn't as excited about going over the sea.

[00:03:23] But I have to say, for me, one of my most favorite Success Connects in the last 11 years.

[00:03:29] How about you guys?

[00:03:30] That's great.

[00:03:30] Number one.

[00:03:31] Number one.

[00:03:32] Well done, SAP.

[00:03:34] Well done, marketing team.

[00:03:36] Love to hear from you guys.

[00:03:38] I'll share some of my favorites and my insights.

[00:03:41] But, Imran, you go first.

[00:03:43] What are you...

[00:03:44] What did you take away from Success Connect?

[00:03:46] What was most exciting for you?

[00:03:48] And where do you think there's opportunity?

[00:03:50] Well, I mean, it was awesome.

[00:03:52] Of course, I got to say this for all the baddies.

[00:03:54] The emphasis on payroll, right?

[00:03:56] So, first of all, I'm a little bit pissed off too.

[00:03:59] I'm looking at you, Todd.

[00:04:00] What the hell, man?

[00:04:01] Like, I was there for five years at SAP.

[00:04:03] You know, I was trying my best to hype payroll.

[00:04:06] You know, I've been a baddie for a long time.

[00:04:08] I was working blogs, speaking.

[00:04:11] You know, I did my own podcast.

[00:04:13] I wrote books.

[00:04:14] I was trying to hype payroll up.

[00:04:16] Then I leave SAP and all of a sudden, keynote stage, front and center.

[00:04:21] Everybody's talking about it, right?

[00:04:23] So, it was like...

[00:04:25] I don't know.

[00:04:25] I was kind of...

[00:04:26] You were holding SAP back.

[00:04:28] I was holding it back, man.

[00:04:29] I was holding it back, man.

[00:04:31] I just took it and ran with it.

[00:04:32] So, you know, I'm a little bit frustrated by that.

[00:04:35] But at the same time, I love it.

[00:04:37] I mean, shout out to Dan Beck, the fact that he brought it up there.

[00:04:39] He wore the baddies chain.

[00:04:41] Mary Ann wore the baddies chain, right?

[00:04:43] So, that was awesome.

[00:04:45] Well, then getting into it, I guess my experience was different, right?

[00:04:48] The last five years plus, I was at SAP and I was always delivering the content.

[00:04:54] So, it was a whole different point of view.

[00:04:56] You know, back early in my career, I was a consultant.

[00:04:59] So, we're talking about over 10 years back.

[00:05:01] And I have to say the one thing that is different, and I think this is why it's the perfect time for us to all come together, is when I look back 10 years ago, when I was working for a partner, there was almost a little bit of animosity between partners, right?

[00:05:15] Like, you wouldn't go stop by another partner's booth.

[00:05:17] People wouldn't talk to each other.

[00:05:19] This year, it was much different, right?

[00:05:21] That partner summit was awesome.

[00:05:22] It was the best partner summit I've been to.

[00:05:25] Shout out to Nick Holmes.

[00:05:26] He uploaded that awesome picture of us on social media.

[00:05:29] You know, shout out to the whole team that put that together.

[00:05:31] Bonnie, great MC.

[00:05:33] Lily really hooked it up for us.

[00:05:35] But you know, like, I just love how there was this collaboration going on between partners.

[00:05:39] And that's what we're doing here, right?

[00:05:41] We're all from different places, and we're just working together.

[00:05:44] So, that part was awesome.

[00:05:46] I'll let the rest of you guys get into, you know, some of the specifics of what you love.

[00:05:50] But of course, I love the emphasis on payroll.

[00:05:53] So, Gio, over to you.

[00:05:56] Thank you.

[00:05:56] Thank you.

[00:05:57] I really love, like, first of all, Portugal.

[00:05:59] What is there not to love, right?

[00:06:01] Everything.

[00:06:01] Everything with there.

[00:06:02] Yeah.

[00:06:04] Yeah.

[00:06:06] Yeah.

[00:06:07] Yeah.

[00:06:08] Yeah.

[00:06:08] I'm in baby CR7.

[00:06:11] Another thing is this.

[00:06:13] We got to build this.

[00:06:15] The baddies came out of that whole entire trip.

[00:06:18] So, that's amazing.

[00:06:19] The technological advances that SAP came out with, whether it was, you know, payroll.

[00:06:25] I know.

[00:06:26] I'm here supporting the whole payroll cost and loving it because never got loved.

[00:06:31] And let's be honest, right?

[00:06:33] In being in SuccessFactors and SAP for so long, I kind of ran away from payroll.

[00:06:39] But now I'm being brought back to be a payroll baddie.

[00:06:42] So, this is awesome.

[00:06:44] The AI, all the advances that are coming out.

[00:06:48] And skills was also taught.

[00:06:50] Oh!

[00:06:50] Oh, we're, we're talking about skills.

[00:06:53] You know what?

[00:06:57] You know, skills gets so, I mean, all the talent stuff gets so much limelight.

[00:07:01] I'm just, you know, I'm so happy.

[00:07:03] All right.

[00:07:04] I'll let it go for this time.

[00:07:06] But, I'll bring it back in episode three or something.

[00:07:10] You know, look into the future.

[00:07:13] But, Matt, what did you like about it?

[00:07:15] I mean, outside of Pink Street, that's what he called me out of.

[00:07:20] Hey, all of you guys are there with me.

[00:07:23] So, I haven't missed any of the Success Connects besides the time my daughter was born.

[00:07:33] And I will say, like, this was by far the best Success Connect I've had.

[00:07:38] And I'm kind of disappointed because there was some rumor going on that next year it might be in Singapore.

[00:07:42] But then I found out it's going to be in Vegas.

[00:07:45] So, I'm kind of disappointed.

[00:07:48] But, yeah.

[00:07:49] Yeah.

[00:07:49] I mean, it's like all the product innovations, all of the partners sort of, you know, Imran, to your point, like, everyone was just like excited to sort of learn, network, meet, like, you know, all the other sort of, you know, partners.

[00:08:07] And it was just an exciting time.

[00:08:09] And I think, Dan, back with sort of all the innovations, specific to payroll and all the other kind of areas, like, it was exciting because for me, like, someone at IBM, it's exciting that we're also demonstrating our capabilities, partnering with SAP, specifically behind the Juul aspect, and really seeing that limelight when he's presenting all the ecosystem partners, right?

[00:08:33] And truly giving back to the customers to say, hey, guys, like, we're not just one SAP.

[00:08:39] We're an ecosystem of all partners coming together to serve our customers, right?

[00:08:43] And that's essentially what was exciting.

[00:08:45] Like, all the keynotes were fun.

[00:08:47] I wasn't able to make it out to the partner summit because we were actually having customer dinners, not on Pink Street.

[00:08:54] And it was super exciting.

[00:08:56] And I'll leave it one thought that I actually ended up selling a deal on Pink Street as well.

[00:09:02] So it was worth it.

[00:09:04] It was worth it.

[00:09:05] I hope you use the electronic signature.

[00:09:08] Not your sign, baby.

[00:09:10] That's how we do it.

[00:09:11] That's right, baby.

[00:09:12] Relax.

[00:09:14] What about you, Todd?

[00:09:16] Hey, listen, I know why you wanted in Singapore because there's no extradition treaty with the U.S.

[00:09:22] I get it.

[00:09:23] I get it.

[00:09:24] It would definitely be a blast.

[00:09:26] But I think what we're going to have in next year is going to be popping, too.

[00:09:29] It's not.

[00:09:30] I don't think it's a typical venue, but I wouldn't be able to come in either way if I did.

[00:09:35] So, listen, I have not slept since the 27th.

[00:09:41] I have been so pins and needles.

[00:09:43] I know Raj's over there going, yep, yep.

[00:09:47] And to Imran's point, it's a long time coming that we get our due.

[00:09:51] And we're kind of going back to the roots of SAP where we do the operations right first.

[00:09:56] And then we build on top of that, right?

[00:09:58] So let's get the operational integrity going.

[00:10:01] Let's make that foundation strong.

[00:10:03] And then we can just build a beautiful house on top of that with skills and talent management and all the things.

[00:10:10] But when you don't start with a solid core, you know, I mean, the house will crumble, right?

[00:10:15] So I'm super excited.

[00:10:16] I'm excited at connecting the AI to that strong foundation.

[00:10:21] Like if you don't have a master data management, and that's going to be my topic here, like master data management is back to being sexy.

[00:10:30] And like, if you think it's sexy, then you belong on this podcast, because that is like the underpinnings of payroll and doing payroll accurately and timely.

[00:10:40] And with what's coming with ECP in that in the modernization, I mean, we're going to be delivering things in payroll that will drive return on investment for the entire suite from the HR perspective.

[00:10:53] So, yeah, I'm obviously super excited.

[00:10:56] I'm excited about our leadership.

[00:10:57] I'm excited about how payroll took front stage.

[00:11:00] I haven't seen that since the day it was released.

[00:11:02] And we're, you know, we have thousands of customers.

[00:11:06] So, and almost a billion pesos.

[00:11:09] We'll talk about that.

[00:11:10] But so, so there's a lot of great things that were showcased, but also, look, hanging out with you guys hanging out with the rest of our customers.

[00:11:18] I had so many great customer conversations, partner conversations.

[00:11:22] Look, there's enough business for everybody.

[00:11:24] There's actually too much business because of the embarrassment of riches that we are around payroll.

[00:11:29] I mean, we, we have so much to share with the world and, and we need everybody singing out of the same hymnal.

[00:11:37] So that's right.

[00:11:40] That's right.

[00:11:41] Okay.

[00:11:43] How can you not get excited when you hear Todd talk like that?

[00:11:47] Seriously, that's the thing that I freaking got from last, last week.

[00:11:51] Again, some people, you guys know me really well.

[00:11:53] I'm a very passionate person.

[00:11:55] And when we get, when we get going about something in is awesome.

[00:11:59] And you know, what's been a travesty for the last few years.

[00:12:02] And really, we're more years than that is that the dues that SAP, especially payroll does not get.

[00:12:09] Like we're here out there sometimes trying to defend SAP and payroll, but bullshit.

[00:12:16] We're, we are, SAP payroll is the king.

[00:12:20] Like, that's right.

[00:12:22] It's a fact.

[00:12:24] It's a fact, right?

[00:12:24] It's a fact to see that on stage with, with, you know, with Dan, with all the leadership, just reaching that just gets me going.

[00:12:34] And I hope it got the other payroll baddies out there going, right?

[00:12:38] Because it's about that.

[00:12:40] It's about AI and what they're doing with AI and payroll and AI with other things, right?

[00:12:45] SAP is in the forefront of that.

[00:12:47] And we need to make sure the, the world understands that.

[00:12:52] And I, we, we, this is why we created this, right?

[00:12:55] We want to be a voice to, to make sure people understand that.

[00:12:59] And we're there, and we're, we're preaching it like Todd does.

[00:13:02] Right?

[00:13:02] So really excited about that.

[00:13:04] Again, Gio, I know we've made fun of the skills thing, but really the skill stuff is really cool.

[00:13:09] It's really cool.

[00:13:10] But this is something we've always, always known about SAP.

[00:13:13] They're on the forefront of that already doing this.

[00:13:15] Yeah.

[00:13:16] Yeah.

[00:13:18] For master data management, all of that coming into the.

[00:13:21] Wait, can we call, you know what?

[00:13:23] Todd was talking about master data management, but like I have this image.

[00:13:27] Can we, can we call it master daddy management?

[00:13:29] Oh, daddy.

[00:13:32] Yeah.

[00:13:32] Todd, you are a payroll daddy.

[00:13:35] Oh, there you go.

[00:13:36] Baddy daddy.

[00:13:37] I'll take it.

[00:13:38] I'll take it.

[00:13:39] Daddy daddy.

[00:13:40] Ooh.

[00:13:40] You're on baddy daddy.

[00:13:41] I'll take it.

[00:13:42] All right.

[00:13:42] We're going to make that official now, actually.

[00:13:45] Payroll baddy daddy.

[00:13:47] Daddy.

[00:13:47] You know, like one more point on success connect, you know, to the, the whole topic of skills

[00:13:53] and all of that, the story that we heard on stage, I think, you know, the order in which

[00:13:57] you do things is very important, right?

[00:13:59] We heard a couple of them.

[00:14:01] BT group.

[00:14:02] You know what they said?

[00:14:02] They said, Hey, we got our core in order.

[00:14:04] All right.

[00:14:05] They have 90,000 people.

[00:14:07] And now they're running them through payroll.

[00:14:08] They have mobile functionality.

[00:14:10] They did EC.

[00:14:11] They did all that.

[00:14:12] And now they're like, okay, now we're going to look at AI.

[00:14:15] We're going to look at all these stuff.

[00:14:15] So that's the order in which to do it.

[00:14:18] And even if you look at a whole Dell days, they were on the keynote stage, 400,000 people.

[00:14:24] They said they do a million over a million pay statements a month mobile, but now they're

[00:14:28] looking at AI.

[00:14:29] So that's why you got to get this part, right?

[00:14:31] And those stories we heard success connect.

[00:14:33] They really just hit the market in my standpoint.

[00:14:37] Absolutely.

[00:14:38] I'm one of the things that I was most excited about is I always feel like the product team

[00:14:43] was like the wizards behind the curtain.

[00:14:45] And I think with Dan coming in, they were front and center.

[00:14:49] The product team was everywhere.

[00:14:51] And what I think I heard a fact that SAP has done more in two years than they have in 20.

[00:14:55] And I think that's the world we live in, right?

[00:14:58] We live, we always say this in a world of instant gratification.

[00:15:01] Like I think about my kids.

[00:15:02] They fact check me all the time with Alexa.

[00:15:05] She's like another member of the house.

[00:15:07] I have to make sure I'm not looking.

[00:15:09] They'll ask me, mommy, you know, they'll ask me a question about a fact about World War

[00:15:14] Two or whatever it is.

[00:15:16] I'll respond with my knowledge and then they'll turn around and in fact check, Alexa, is this

[00:15:22] right?

[00:15:23] These are our future employees, right?

[00:15:25] These are the future workforce.

[00:15:27] And I think what SAP is doing right now in marrying, you know, core and payroll, AI, like there's

[00:15:35] some really exciting things happening.

[00:15:36] And I thought that was all on stage last week.

[00:15:40] There's so much coming.

[00:15:41] I'm pumped.

[00:15:41] I'm excited.

[00:15:42] Hey, sorry about shouting out the circle God's name.

[00:15:46] I'm, if you're watching this on, on a speaker phone, because mine's lighting up right now.

[00:15:51] I'm just hoping that she stays quiet, but.

[00:15:56] Yeah.

[00:15:57] I like that, Todd.

[00:15:58] I know you gotta be really careful, but.

[00:16:00] I know.

[00:16:01] Is she listening?

[00:16:02] She's always listening.

[00:16:04] Is she listening?

[00:16:05] Exactly.

[00:16:06] So, you know, speaking about payroll and I think, you know, to echo what all of you have

[00:16:10] said, the other thing that really was very cool is the camaraderie.

[00:16:13] Like this group here, we've been a core group, if you will, for a while.

[00:16:18] But payroll's kind of what's kind of brought us all together over the last couple of years.

[00:16:23] And I had the best time with you all last week.

[00:16:27] I enjoyed all the other people coming together and wanting to be part of this revolution.

[00:16:32] Right.

[00:16:32] And there's a lot more payroll baddies out there.

[00:16:35] And we want to welcome you into the circle.

[00:16:38] And we want this to really be that a payroll revolution.

[00:16:41] Payroll people, it's your time.

[00:16:44] You're baddies.

[00:16:45] Okay.

[00:16:46] This is your time to shine.

[00:16:48] You're on stage.

[00:16:50] Get the credit.

[00:16:51] The number one thing that companies, you know, keep them up at night is making sure

[00:16:55] they're paying their people, paying them on time, right?

[00:16:58] Compliance regulations.

[00:17:00] This should not be just an afterthought.

[00:17:02] Like it's your time to shine payroll baddies.

[00:17:04] So.

[00:17:05] That's right.

[00:17:05] Long time.

[00:17:07] Big topic though.

[00:17:08] Payroll.

[00:17:09] I have a question for you guys.

[00:17:10] There was a conversation trying to understand, you know, I have small children.

[00:17:15] Some of you do as well.

[00:17:17] Walk to me like I'm a five year old here.

[00:17:19] Break this down.

[00:17:20] Simple concepts.

[00:17:22] I'm trying to understand with light and strata work day, SAP.

[00:17:29] Help me understand the relationship here specific to this company.

[00:17:37] Sure.

[00:17:38] We'll have to take that, Ron.

[00:17:39] Yeah, I'll take it and then, you know, Todd can add in too or Roger.

[00:17:43] Yeah.

[00:17:43] Any of the baddies can add in.

[00:17:44] But look, I think, you know, we've talked about partnerships and the world has really expanded

[00:17:49] in terms of what you think about what that was like 10 years ago, right?

[00:17:54] Work day had their whole power of one and try to do everything to yourself.

[00:17:57] I do think SAP was on the forefront of partnerships, right?

[00:18:01] Everything changed from a consumer standpoint when Apple, right, announced that the App Store.

[00:18:06] And then that's really gone to the enterprise, right?

[00:18:09] And so there's different levels of partnership.

[00:18:11] And if you look at it, like App Store is probably the most simplistic one, but you have these

[00:18:16] relationships going all the way to like a white labeled solution, right?

[00:18:20] That's when you're selling someone else's solution as your own with your own branding.

[00:18:25] And, you know, you're talking about explaining it like a five year old.

[00:18:28] How many of you have been to Costco before, right?

[00:18:31] Shop at Costco?

[00:18:33] Everybody.

[00:18:34] Everybody.

[00:18:35] Everybody.

[00:18:36] Well, this is a global podcast too, Todd.

[00:18:38] So, you know, but...

[00:18:39] And they're all over the world.

[00:18:41] They are all over the world.

[00:18:42] They're right.

[00:18:43] But if you ever bought the Kirkland brand and an SAP shop, if you've ever bought the Kirkland

[00:18:49] brand, you'd think, oh, this is Costco's brand.

[00:18:52] However, which you don't realize, and this is out there, but you know, their coffee is manufactured

[00:18:57] by like Starbucks, right?

[00:18:58] So it's the same actual product, even though it's sold as Kirkland.

[00:19:02] Same thing happens at enterprise tech, right?

[00:19:04] And I think I saw the blog and we had conversations at Success Connect, Julie Fernandez, you know,

[00:19:09] great, someone I consider a friend.

[00:19:11] I saw she wrote a blog about this where Workday is selling Strata payroll on their own contract, right?

[00:19:18] So that's like the same as their native tech, which I think is really interesting.

[00:19:21] SAP kind of does this too, right?

[00:19:23] We call it the solution extension with things like workforce software.

[00:19:27] But you know, there's different ways you can brand it, right?

[00:19:30] You can brand it as what SAP does.

[00:19:33] Yeah.

[00:19:33] Wait, what's up, Raj?

[00:19:35] I'm sorry.

[00:19:35] I'm sorry, but I have to let's listen.

[00:19:38] I want a new segment.

[00:19:39] I want to call it Pope the Bear.

[00:19:40] I feel like I got it.

[00:19:42] All right.

[00:19:43] Oh, gosh.

[00:19:44] I'm getting sweaty again.

[00:19:45] Here we go.

[00:19:48] I'm not going to stir anything up.

[00:19:50] I'm just trying to understand.

[00:19:51] Right?

[00:19:52] I'm just trying to understand.

[00:19:53] But really, you are starting things up.

[00:19:54] Right.

[00:19:54] No, no.

[00:19:55] Imran, you did a fantastic job about explaining how it's white labeled and that makes perfect

[00:20:00] sense.

[00:20:01] Right.

[00:20:01] Right.

[00:20:01] But I just need to understand something from what I understand.

[00:20:05] Strata, great company out there.

[00:20:07] They're doing their payroll on two big technology, SAP and work.

[00:20:12] Right.

[00:20:13] I again, I'm asking is do they have other technology that they used to do payroll?

[00:20:18] Because when I saw this news, it was a little bit weird to me because I read it as okay.

[00:20:26] Workday.

[00:20:27] I mean, they do payroll and I think maybe two or three countries, maybe four.

[00:20:31] I'm not sure.

[00:20:32] And they don't think it's five, but we argue that global payroll engine like SAP does,

[00:20:38] you know, just saying, just saying, but then you're, you're white labeling something

[00:20:42] like Strata, a great company out there doing great payroll business.

[00:20:46] Then, well, well, what is the technology using to service those other global countries that

[00:20:53] Workday does?

[00:20:54] Right.

[00:20:55] Again, if there's somebody out there listening who, you know, if you know more about this,

[00:21:00] we would love to have you on the podcast.

[00:21:02] Again, this is not to throw shade.

[00:21:03] This is really just trying to understand.

[00:21:05] So sorry, Imran.

[00:21:06] I just had to, I had to get my piece out there.

[00:21:09] Yeah.

[00:21:10] I mean, I'll, I'll chime in.

[00:21:12] I'll chime in there real quick, but I'll just, I'm going to stay focused on what Strata and

[00:21:16] our BPO partners do for our customers, because I think that's the kind of a critical thing,

[00:21:22] especially as we've reinvigorated those relationships over the last eight months.

[00:21:26] And, you know, we have two of the world's largest outsourcers with Strata and ADP signing agreements

[00:21:34] with us moving forward to help our customers move into the cloud.

[00:21:38] Right.

[00:21:38] So, so I think the difference for the audience would be that Strata is out there really focused

[00:21:42] on the ability to outsource everything success factors, not just payroll.

[00:21:48] And ADP is hyper focused with global view on payroll.

[00:21:52] And so our teams are working together to make sure that we can get all of our customers moved

[00:21:57] off of the on-prem environment with ECC, the legacy environment and into the cloud.

[00:22:02] So like, you know, two strong partners delivering that, you know, for customers that are maybe

[00:22:07] don't want to go through that, that upgrade themselves or running out of time and are thinking

[00:22:12] about outsourcing.

[00:22:13] It's a great opportunity.

[00:22:14] So, so can I just translate that really quickly?

[00:22:17] I used English.

[00:22:21] You did.

[00:22:22] I used to say, what I heard was Strata ADP, two great companies using SAP technology as the main payrolls.

[00:22:30] You know, again, because SAP payroll is king.

[00:22:33] That's all I heard in my head.

[00:22:35] So I'm just saying.

[00:22:36] Yeah.

[00:22:37] Yeah.

[00:22:37] You know what?

[00:22:37] I have to imagine.

[00:22:38] I mean, I wonder how ADP feels about that whole relationship.

[00:22:41] Right.

[00:22:41] Because I know they do a lot of work with, with Workday too.

[00:22:44] So, you know, I have to wonder about that a little bit.

[00:22:48] So you're, you're saying SAP is king.

[00:22:51] It's the engine of all engines behind a lot of other third party vendors.

[00:22:58] Sometimes competitors.

[00:22:59] You gotta look under the hood.

[00:23:00] For sure.

[00:23:01] Yes.

[00:23:03] Who's tech are you really using?

[00:23:04] The Ferrari engine underneath there.

[00:23:06] You gotta see the Ferrari engine that's underneath that.

[00:23:08] I think that's the question.

[00:23:10] Isn't a Ferrari engine.

[00:23:11] Isn't a Ferrari engine.

[00:23:12] Isn't a Ferrari engine.

[00:23:13] You look under there and see something else, right?

[00:23:15] It's a good RFC question, right?

[00:23:17] When you're looking at global payroll, maybe this is a bigger topic for another day, but who,

[00:23:24] what is the true engine?

[00:23:26] What's running payroll?

[00:23:28] And maybe in some cases we're swiping left, right Giovanna?

[00:23:32] Oh.

[00:23:33] Yes.

[00:23:34] Maybe we are.

[00:23:37] Another topic for another day.

[00:23:39] Yeah.

[00:23:39] Tell me more.

[00:23:40] Tell me more.

[00:23:41] That's a right.

[00:23:44] Am I, do I have my directions correct?

[00:23:45] Yes.

[00:23:46] Left is bad.

[00:23:47] Good is.

[00:23:49] That's what we're on the podcast talking about Gio's dating life.

[00:23:52] So that's, that's, that's, that's.

[00:23:53] Stay tuned.

[00:23:54] Stay tuned.

[00:24:01] Stay tuned.

[00:24:02] All the way from success connect, the recap to strata to Gio's dating life to more to
