A strangely revealing Q&A with Jeff and Steven!

In this episode of JobBoardGeek, we join our hosts Steven Rothberg, Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of College Recruiter, and Jeff Dickey-Chasins aka the Job Board Doctor.

With no guest this week, our hosts ask each other questions about their background, businesses, and more.

Steven explains the Visionary component of his job title which is based on the eos operating system. Steven says that a Visionary is similar to a Chairman, as much of his role is not concerned with the day-to-day operations of the business. Being a Visionary is seeing what is coming next in the industry and being able to communicate the direction of the business to employees and customers.

Jeff explains how he went from being a job board consultant to being known as the Job Board Doctor. He also goes into his nontraditional lifestyle of moving around the country and how that allowed him to be an early adopter of remote work.

Steven, the self-proclaimed fully recovered lawyer, talks about his experience as a boss. He says he is an activator and that this execution strategy allows College Recruiter to move forward. But, he can sometimes feel impatient while waiting for his vision to come to life.
