Jay Arnold is a seasoned Human Resources leader with a passion for people, culture, and building workplaces where talent thrives. He brings a strategic, down-to-earth approach to HR leadership, supporting U.S. teams nationwide while collaborating globally to support a workforce of over 200,000.
His expertise spans the full HR spectrum including talent acquisition, full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, HR operations, employee and labor relations, compliance, HR Immigration, and global mobility. Jay has held key roles at Fortune 500 companies in Automotive, Manufacturing, Higher Education, Retail, and the Music Business.
Before he found his passion in HR, he spent well over a decade playing guitar in an original rock band with his closest friends, recording music and slugging it out in the clubs, bars, and venues across Michigan and the Midwest, trying to make it as an actual rock star. During this time, he realized HR was where he needed to be when the dream came to an end.
He holds an MBA in Human Resources from Walsh College, a BBA in Management from Davenport University, AA in Business Administration from Oakland Community College, and is SPHR-certified.
Jay enjoys traveling outside work, catching comedy shows and live music, from dive bars to packed stadiums. Based in metro Detroit (the Motor City & Motown, of course), where he lives with his family, cheering on the Tigers, and proudly passes down his love of classic hair metal to his kids.
