Founder - Aspen Analytics

Thank you for learning about my career and skill set.

I am grateful for the opportunities that created expertise in intelligence and analysis improving skills of employees. I am humbled to be asked by some of most advanced companies in the world and serve the United States to do that.

In 2017, after scrutiny and analysis of 3MM hires, I wanted a mission bigger than myself. I decided to serve my country and protect as many people as possible.

Investing in my education to better analyze workforces and AI use, I received a MS in Business Analytics from NYU, and bid on US federal contracts. In 2019, I took residency in the US Dept. of Homeland Security and eventually accepted a full-time appointment with CISA focused on developing the cybersecurity workforce protecting Americans.

With federal authorization, I continue to work with Aspen. It performs employment analysis and audits regarding workforce performance, wage transparency and AI usage.

Early career experiences (2001-17) provided important building blocks to protect the United States from cyberthreat and ensure equity and fairness for private sector employees occurs daily.

From 2001-05, I was in recruiting. Mentored by a General Electric SVP/GM turned recruiter, I focused on supply chain and engineering positions paying 200–400k USD in chemicals, consumer goods, and logistics. Quickly promoted, I managed a team of researchers and intelligence gatherers. I realized that analytics, math, and tech were under-utilized inside HR.

From 2005-12, I learned about complex workforces and innovating corporate recruitment. Honeywell asked me to lead recruiting for its $5B chemicals unit. I managed executive and university recruiting and the outsourcing of hiring. After successful RPO install, I opened Aspen Analytics, and began residency in a Fortune 500. More residencies and projects followed. Clients remained confidential as Aspen became a “go to” when poor practices in employment were suspected. I also designed curriculum and became an adjunct professor at NYU.

In 2012-2017, I created HR data standards while maintaining residencies. I worked with SHRM to create what became ISO TS 30407, the Cost Per Hire standard. I then co-authored the candidate and employer surveys for The Talent Board, the gold standard for measuring an employer’s candidate experience. In 2013, Aspen launched its insights platform Pando, named by HRO Today as the most innovative technology in recruitment. Aspen was quickly awarded contracts with staffing providers to design HR analytics for 100s of customers.
